is the discipline that explores the details of the composition and structure of both natural and man-made objects. As a central scientific discipline, providing many other sciences with information, it delivers spectacularly in the scientific world of today, for example, in the materials sciences and nanotechnology and particularly in the biological, biomedical, forensic, and environmental sciences and biotechnology.

Projects
Our research aims at the development of new, environmentally friendly, and reliable analytical techniques for environmental, food, biomass, forensic, and medicinal analysis with a special focus on the promotion of the Green Analytical Chemistry concept. To reduce the use of hazardous chemicals, decrease energy consumption and amount of waste products we develop non-destructive cutting-edge analytical technologies, combined with chemometric tools for making qualitative and quantitative conclusions.
